iTunes Podcasting, Always Innovating

The new Apple iTunes is out today. I haven't played with it too much, but from what I have it looks pretty cool. They have added Podcasting support. Which means it can download specific Pocasts that you set it to on a schedule, and even load them to your iPod. I haven't really been all that much into Podcasting yet, but with the help of iTunes I may just jump on the bandwagon and try it out, who knows, this very well could replace your traditional radio.

*UPDATE*
So I listened to my first Podcast from iTunes this morning on the train to work. I set it up so that it auto-updates everytime there is a new Podcast, and it seems really cool. I am thinking if I schedule my iBook to boot-up every morning, and put iTunes in my startup items, I won't even have to do anything and my iPod will have all my new Podcasts ready to listen to on my way to work. I think I may become a frequent Podcaster afterall!

JPG Magazine

I found JPG Magazine yesterday on their Flickr account. It seems like a very interesting magazine for those of you, like me, who enjoy looking at pretty pictures rather than reading magazines. The most recent issue is a 62 page, high-quality piece with photos from over 50 photographers. It seems like a really cool publication, and the Flickr account is really popular.

Not Your Dad's Laptop Bag

For all of those who own a laptop and are sick and tired of carrying around some lame-ass leather brief-case-lookin-thing that could have been a "hand me down" from your grandpa, InCase is here to save the day. Last month while I was in Denver I got the chance to visit the Apple Store there and they had a bunch of these bags there. I fell in love. Unfortunatly they didn't have this little baby featured above. InCase also makes a lot of other fresh bags for iPods, Guitars and more. I am gonna be sportin' one of these next paycheck for sure.

Synthesis: Rave Worthy

I must admit, it has been quite sometime now since I have been to a rave, but I must say the party tonight by the name of Synthesis looks like it could be well worth checking out. The party lineup includes heavy-hitters such as John B, Simply Jeff, Jayrod, Kris Moon and a "loptop battle" which seems like a cool idea. I was checking out SLC DnB just now and they have a Quicktime movie up of there light and sound check up from last night, so check it out and I am sure it may make you think twice about not going to this party.

Shoe Gazing

These new Nikes are dope, I would like to get my hands on a pair, but I am sure they are going to be outrageously priced. I mean I like my sneaks, but $300.00 for a pair of shoes is a little steep for me. I am amazed at how crazy people get about their sneakers, it's like an ever-growing cult of sneaker freaks that would give their left arm for a pair of limited edition Addidas Jeremy Scott kicks. For those of you who are already into the whole "foot candy" world I am sure you know about these, but for those wanting to know more about it here are some shoe sites for ya:

:: Hypebeast
:: The Daily Sneaker Blog
:: JB Classics Online
;; Sneaker Pimps
:: Sneaker Freaker

And those are just a few, check 'em out and jump on the shoe-head bandwagon.

Bombing the System

I doubt it will ever show in theaters here in SLC, but Bomb the System surprisingly looks pretty good. The reason I say surprisingly is because it's about graffiti lifestyle, and movies about any sub-culture usually end up being some skewed, horrible representation of what the culture is actually like. But I would be willing to check this movie out to see what it's all about, keep an eye out for the DVD.
