New "Local" Store

A new store called "Local" has opened up in the South Towne Mall in Sandy that is dedicated to supporting the local music and clothing designers. This seems like a great idea, and it's always nice to see people trying to support the local scene, but I do wonder why owner Eric Rooks has chosen this location. It would seem to me perhaps Sugarhouse, or a more central location might be more fitting. Regardless I wish the best and give mad respect to anyone who puts themselves out on a limb to try and support something they love. It is said the store will be having live performances from local musicians, so stop by and check it out.
