We B Girlz: Girlz Get Down

Out of any musical genre Hip-Hop has had one of the largest impacts on the life we live today. As we all know Hip-Hop is much more than just music, it's a culture. And for as long as it has has been around, so has breakdancing. We B Girls is a book that takes a deeper look into an aspect of breakdancing that is all too often overlooked, and that is how women of all ages all over the world have helped innovate breakdancing. Photographed by Martha Cooper and writen by Nika Kramer the book features pioneering B-Girlz like Rokafella from the Bronx, Asia-One from LA, twelve-year-old Wonder Woman from France and sixty-five-year-old Krazee Grandma from Sweden.
